A completely random blog by a mumtrepreneur who wants to inspire
Some mornings I drag my tired 28 year old body out of bed and wonder how I got here …..
I have been using a computer for 10 years plus … probably closer to 15 years. All of our computers have been a microsoft based PC or Laptop. So switching to the Mac has been strange. It’s amazing to think that using a PC is a skill we have learned yet we take it for granted. Simple things like right clicking, using two hands on the laptop mouse pad and all of the shortcuts that are second nature – ctrl+C etc.
We went back to the Mac store today and I decided to get a bag for my Mac! A little silly that I walked out of the store yesterday with a $3500 MacBook Pro and was too tight to buy a $99 bag for it to go in!! Hmm yes …. sometime I don’t think!
I’m a Mac!! So I will catch you up on my holiday over the next few days but I have more exciting news that I can’t wait to share with you all!
Just a quick post to say I haven’t forgotten about you all! We are on a holiday in New Zealand so I have had hardly any internet access. Will update you all when I come home next week!

Stylish
I am far from stylish. For the past … hmm well lets say 8 years I have not only adopted, but I have fully invested in the style of “frumpy”. I barely ever buy clothes and either buy new clothes because my old ones don’t fit anymore or when everything I own has been moved to the rag bag …
I follow so many blog with uber stylish women and it makes me so jealous! I think style is something you are, I don’t think it’s something you learn. These beautiful women just are ….
I follow the amazing Yoko Ono on Twitter ( @yokoono ). I know many don’t like her and are still hung up on the fact that she single handedly broke up The Beatles! LOL Yes I do believe this, she is one amazing women!
After hearing about these natural cleaning products from the lovely Cat (See her blog here – AllCatsAreGrayAtTheNight) I have wanted to give them a try. I was holding off because of the cost, but really the cost is no different to what I am spending now on cleaning products. I guess I have never bought them in one hint on their own before so it was a little scary!
Yesterday was Earth Day! I was quiet surprised to learn it was the 40th Earth Day. It kind of shocks me that we have been environmentally aware since 1960. For some reason I always associate environmental awareness with the last 10-15 years.
I am not a religious person, but I do love this “prayer”. I think it can speak to everyone and doesn’t need to be religious. We can simply ask ourselves for these things ….
God, grant me the serenity
To accept the things I cannot change;
The courage to change the things that I can;
And the wisdom to know the difference.
