I know I said I would do my next memory box over the next few weeks, but last night I got a little bored so I decided to do his birthday box!
These are so much fun to do and a little more rewarding than a scrapbook as they can be displayed and not put away. But the scrapbooker in me finds it hard with the minimalist approach, I am constantly wanting to pull out my ribbons and embellishments and decorate them to the max! But I think the point of a memory box is to use the only momentos to decorate and keep the true memory, move beyond the tizziness of the embellishments!
I used his real party hat on his head and also placed the badge over the badge in the photo. The little pieces in the right corner are some confetti type pieces used on the tables at his party and of course his invitation
Can’t wait to make my chocolate heart tarts next weekend! Need to go shopping for supplies this week ![]()
